Ros and Rob were truly fated to meet one another – thanks to eHarmony!!
Rob was about to give up the whole process – he was SO OVER the whole internet dating scene. Ros, on the other hand, had only just started, and even though she quickly realised what hard work it was, and how the whole thing totally lacked any kind of compassion, she persisted – with a little bit of encouragement from one of her lovely daughters.
Rob was on page 6!!
She’d already overlooked him once, but upon reflection, decided to give him a go! Who would have thought that simple little act of blowing a kiss, would lead to the magnificent celebration of love and commitment that we had at their home recently?
Their already elegant and classy home, was utterly transformed into a magical stage by the endeavours of all family members, as well as a few close friends. It certainly helped that the bride is a woodwork teacher (one of the only females of that ilk) and works in a creative environment all day every day. Her sense of style was imprinted on every tiny detail.
Rob was resplendent in a classic navy single breasted suit while our bride simply shone in an elegant full length gown with ivory underlay and gold lace overlay with matching black beading as the sleeve, and topped off by a fine black feather headpiece.
Guests totally got into the spirit of the occasion – none more elegant and sassy than the daughters of the bride and groom!! Entertainment was provided by the absolutely gorgeous Dean from Pikt Entertainment (https://www.facebook.com/PiktEnt/) who also supplied the photographers – Hugh and Emily (can’t wait to see their pics!!). Guests partied the night away with rare abandon and the dance floor was full from the first dance to when the last guest collapsed from exhaustion!! The couple could not have asked for anything more – they were absolutely rapt with everything!!
