About Yvonne Wood
Find out a bit more about me and how I can help you with your special day
Hi, I’m YVONNE
I became a celebrant several years ago because I have a passion for people, ceremonies, romance and fun! Put these together and you have the perfect recipe for a beautiful and unforgettable wedding ceremony.
My various backgrounds in amateur music theatre, primary teaching, workplace training, hospitality and retail, as well as being a wife and mum to 4 great kids and a pretty amazing husband, have all helped to shape the way I approach each individual wedding, and have given me the sensitivity and insight to help create the perfect ceremonies for my couples.
I am a very experienced celebrant with a zest for new ideas, and the ability to combine knowledge with innovation, to ultimately provide my couples with an ideally tailored ceremony – personal, unique and memorable.
What to Expect?
Total commitment to you and your ceremony! I am dedicated to making your day as wonderful, as magical and as memorable as you can possibly imagine. My attention to detail will ensure that everything runs smoothly on your special day as well as in the days leading up to, and after, the wedding.
“Your Day” will be my priority on that day and so I will have no other weddings on the same day as yours.
I will liaise with you as far as dress code is concerned and will ensure that I wear clothing appropriate in colour scheme and style (formal, semi-formal, fun, casual, etc). All you will have to do is relax, be amazing and enjoy every minute of the experience.
Weddings
Weddings are arguably the happiest day of your life to this point in time! I make the planning of your wedding ceremony stress-free and fun.
Master of Ceremonies (MC)
To give your function a sense of style and professionalism…
A good MC can make or break your event!
Naming Ceremony
A Naming Ceremony is often associated with little babies, much like a Baptism or a Christening.
Renewal of Vows
Renewing your vows is a fabulous way to reaffirm your commitment to one another and celebrate the fact that yep, you did indeed make the right choice!!
Commitment Ceremony
Sometimes it is not always possible – or preferable – to have a legal wedding ceremony – you may have already become legally married overseas, or it has not been possible to procure vital legal documents in time for your big day.
Rite of Passage
Our lives are made up of milestones and many of these form a rite of passage, graduations and significant birthdays, for example.
